Associate
Administrator of the Office of

Washington, D.C., informed Snyder Technical Services of their decision
to certify STS into their 8(a) Business Development
Program.
On making the
announcement, we thank Ms. Thomas and the Small Business
Administration. "We're excited to be part of the SBA's
highly successful 8(a) Business Development Program. We look
forward to
our new relationship with the SBA and will serve existing and

Snyder Technical Services
is a proud sponsor of
the Joint Integrated
Air Missile Defense (JIAMD) conference hosted in Huntsville, AL March 1
& 2, 2006.
In coordination with the
Office
of the Under Secretary of Defense
for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (OUSD(AT&L)), the
Tennessee Valley Chapters of the National Defense Industrial
Association (NDIA), Women In Defense (WID), and the Huntsville Chapter
of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA) are
planning a series of annual Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense
(JIAMD) Summits. These Summits are supported by the Director, Defense
Systems, OUSD (AT&L), Joint Functional Component Commander for
Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC-IMD), Deputy Director, Force
Protection (JCS J8), and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
The purpose of these Summits is to provide routine forums to
aid in achieving improved government and industry communication, and
obtaining innovative industrial inputs necessary to attain a more joint
and integrated Air and Missile Defense Family of Systems (FoS).
At each
of the Summits, subject matter experts from industry, military, and
academia will work together to improve industry participation in
resolving issues in the present and proposed JIAMD architecture and FoS
implementation plan.

Snyder Technical Services
announced
today they were on the
winning team with Jacob's Sverdrup
to
provide Engineering, Science and Technical Services (ESTS) for NASA's
Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Huntsville, AL.
The prime contract, with a
total
maximum value of $500 million,
consists of a one-year base period beginning October 15, 2005, and four
one-year options. As a TeamMate company, STS provides services
across a
wide range of engineering, technical, science, propulsion, program
management and business disciplines, including support to major NASA
programs.
Jacobs-Sverdrup, the prime
contractor, supports NASA MSFC under the new
contract with seven other major subcontractors: All Points Logistics
(Gainesville, GA); Allied Aerospace Industries, Inc. (Norfolk, VA);
ERC, Inc. (Huntsville, AL); Integrated Concepts Research Corporation
(Alexandria, VA); Miltec Corporation (Huntsville, AL); Qualis
Corporation (Huntsville, AL); and Snyder Technical Services
(Huntsville, AL).
In
making the announcement,

work toward the lofty goals of sending human expeditions to Mars and
beyond."
